In addition, we propose the finest embroideries in cotton made by Hmong women, one of the many local tribes in the North of Laos OUR OBJECTIVES DOKMAI pursues two objectives, which are: the promotion of the beauty of Lao handicraft beyond its boundaries and to initiate the artists to make better use of their magnificient skills in introducing new pattern and colour schemes to attract new international customers .
DOKMAI has created its own brand of exclusive silk fashion products which only use the finest natural silk available in the laotian markets, cleaned in an environmental sustainable manner and dyed with non toxic natural and chemical dyes meeting the GOTS standards. These products are hand-woven on traditional wooden looms by experienced female weavers
